Fermi America has taken delivery of its first three Siemens Energy SGT6-5000F natural gas turbines at the Port of Houston. The arrival marks a major milestone for Project Matador, our advanced energy and AI campus near Amarillo, Texas.
Rated at up to 780 megawatts combined, these three turbines will anchor the second phase of the power buildout for what is expected to be the nation’s largest combined-cycle natural gas project.

From Houston, they’ll head to the Panhandle, where site work is already underway to receive them.
