POWER SOURCES AND STATUS

~2GW OF SECURED LONG-LEAD-TIME GAS GENERATION ASSETS EN ROUTE TO PROJECT MATADOR

Siemens SGT800s

  • Fermi acquired six new, “in crate” world-class Siemens Frame industrial gas turbines in combined-cycle mode, six heat recovery steam generators, and one SST600 steam turbine.
  • The package, which reflects an ISO-rated capacity of 478 MW, estimated at 400-plus MW at site elevation, also includes six gas turbine exhaust venting systems, enabling reliable, simple-cycle operation in the event of steam turbine outages or maintenance.

Siemens F-Class Units

  • Siemens Energy is shipping three F-class SGT6-5000F gas turbine units, capable of generating up to 1.1 GW at ISO conditions in combined-cycle mode. These industrial-grade units are well-suited for 24/7 baseload applications.

GE6Bs

  • Three secondary-market GE 6B Frame class industrial gas turbines and a paired steam turbine, formerly operated in New Jersey, are currently being refurbished before deployment at the site in Amarillo.
